This Friday is Burns Night, a celebration dedicated to the late great Scottish poet Robert Burns. Many venues in and around Surrey will be hosting their own Burns Nights celebrations, with special events featuring many of the traditions of Robert Burns’ homeland, so expect plenty of haggis on offer.
Now that the festive period is over and everyone has started going back to work it’s time to find that next date in our diaries to look forward to.
Nothing says Christmas like a carol service, with hundreds of people from your community, gathered together in the festive spirit, belting out some of the classic carols such as Silent Night, Joy to the World and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The festive season is in full swing and many of us will be preparing for the upcoming office Christmas party, some of us looking forward to it, whilst others not so sure if we want to attend.
This week sees the return of Pudsey the Bear and Children in Need as the country bands together to raise money to fund projects all across the world designed to help children and their families.
