Museum at Night returns this May. The bi-annual festival opens some of the UK’s most interesting museums and galleries to the public during the evenings of the festival.

Running from Wednesday 15 – Saturday 18 May 2019, the event produced by Brighton based charity Culture 24 will focus on shining a light on Britain’s sparkling culture and heritage.

Joke in the Box – The Lightbox

The Lightbox in Woking plays host to the hugely popular comedy night takes place on the last Thursday of the month (30 May).

The event is suitable for those over the age of 16 and features the best up-and-coming and established acts on the stand-up circuit.

Archives at Night: Cold War Revealed – The National Archives

Head down to The National Archives in Kew on 17 May as they throwback to the 1980s.

Immerse yourself in the era through gallery tours of the new exhibition, test your 80s trivia and compete for vintage prizes in their bumper quiz, try your hand at retro video games, or even grab a cocktail at ‘Club Tropicana’ and party like it’s 1982 at the disco.
