With the domestic season nears its climax, Watford would be excused from having one eye on arguably their biggest match in years as they look to win the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
Standing in their way is Manchester City who are currently going toe to toe with Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title. City will be hoping the FA cup will be the final piece of the puzzle in their pursuit of the treble, having already won the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

This year’s FA Cup final takes place on Saturday 18 May at Wembley Stadium, just a week after the end of the normal Premier League season.
Manchester City are the favourites to lift the title and will be confident of picking up the sixth FA cup win of their history, having already beaten Watford twice in the league this season.
Watford have enjoyed a good season and currently find themselves challenging to the ‘best of the rest’ and finish seventh this season. Manager Javi Gracia has become the club’s longest-serving Premier League coach this season after completing over a year in charge.
A Watford win will most likely hinge on big performances from captain Troy Deeney and midfield maestro Gerard Deulofeu. The Spaniard tore Wolves apart in the Semi-final scoring one of the goals of the season and later grabbing the winner in extra time as Wolves pushed forward in search of a goal.
Despite Watford’s impressive season it is hard to look past Pep Guardiola’s side after they beat the Hornets home and away in the league. City may just have too much star quality for Watford.
