If you love jazz music then you are in for a treat this November, as the annual London Jazz Festival returns for its 28th renewal.
It is widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars and continues to showcase jazz to a massive audience, in one of UK’s landmark music events.
Expect to see a range of heavyweight musical talent from right across the globe, with the festival’s mixture of jazz masters, cutting-edge young bands making a stir, industry legends with a wealth of fresh new music, and the latest emerging British stars.
The festival gets underway on Friday 15 November and will run until Sunday 24 November with a range of workshops, performances and other events taking place each day in the city.
You will find gigs at venues throughout London, with venues ranging from Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wigmore Hall, to smaller spaces such as King’s Place, the Purcell Room and the Omnibus Theatre.
On top of that, there is a range of interactive sessions for the children to get involved in, including Jazz for Toddlers, Groove Baby Presents Groove Onto the Moon and Nessasaurus – a highland fairy tale for all the family brought to life through live jazz and story-telling.
