This Sunday all eyes will be on Wembley stadium as Aston Villa and Manchester City battle it out for the first proper piece of domestic silverware of the season.
With the Premier League trophy on its way to Anfield this season, Manchester City will be desperate for some silverware of their own and the current holders will surely feel they have a fantastic chance against this Villa side.
The Midland-based side has struggled in their first year back in the top flight but surprisingly still find themselves sat above the relegation zone, something they have Jack Grealish to thank for. The Villa captain has been in phenomenal form this season and has carried the side on the pitch.
The two sides have met twice already this season in the Premier League with Manchester City dominating both games. City won 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium in October and were even more impressive with a 6-1 thrashing in the reverse fixture at Villa Park in January.
Villa have a terrible record against their opponents, having lost nine of the last 11 meetings, with the last four defeats all being by more than three goals.
They will no doubt be in for another painful 90 minutes if the Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling that we all know turn up.
The Villa fans will be in full force on Sunday having sold out their allocation. However, the same cannot be said for their high-flying opponents who are struggling to sell-out and currently have tickets on general sale to anyone who has previously been to a game at the Etihad Stadium.
It is hard to see past a Manchester City win on Sunday with Villa’s recent struggles.
