Santa Claus is coming to Town


With less than a month to go until the big day, it is time to start getting into the festive spirit and to help we’ve put together our recommendations of some of the best places in and around Reigate where you can enjoy the build-up to Christmas.

Reigate Christmas Fayre

This Saturday (30 November) sees the popular Reigate Christmas Fayre take place on Church Street.

It all gets underway at 11.30 am there is plenty going on for all the family, with market stalls, food stalls, donkey rides and plenty of live music.

Then at 4.30 pm, the main event gets underway with the Christmas Light’s switch on which will be performed by the stars of the Harlequin’s Christmas pantomime – Ola & James Jordan from Strictly Come Dancing.

Reigate on Ice

Nothing says Christmas like a pop-up ice rink, so why not celebrate the festive season down at Priory Park this December.

Skaters can experience the wonder of skating on real ice in whatever weather under a big top marquee along with festive music and Christmas food and drink will help create a winter wonderland.

There will also be regular live entertainment, fireworks displays, rides and attractions meaning you can keep the whole family entertained.

Late-night Christmas shopping

Mark down Thursday 12 December in your diaries, as Reigate Business Guild, hosts its annual late-night Christmas shopping event, where shops will stay open until 8 pm so that residents of Reigate can get their Christmas shopping done.
