Experience world-class racing and regal tradition at Royal Ascot 2025

If you are a fan of world-class horse racing, royal pageantry and pomp and circumstance, then Royal Ascot is the place for you this summer.

This year’s event will take place between Tuesday 17 and Saturday 21 June, and is expected to see over 350,000 visitors over the course of the festival.

Among the visitors to Royal Ascot will be members of the Royal Family, where it is expected that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be in attendance to lead the daily Royal Procession, a tradition that has been in place since 1825.

Ladies Day and Gold Cup history await

Among the numerous races to take place across the five days is the Gold Cup, the oldest and most prestigious race of the meeting. First held in 1807, the Gold Cup is traditionally run on the Thursday of the meeting, a day colloquially referred to as Ladies Day due to the fashion and elegance on show, with attendees often donning their finest dresses and most extravagant hats.

Kyprios was last year’s Gold Cup winner and looks to become only the fourth horse to win this prestigious race more than twice.
