A leading industry body has awarded Parkers the highest possible quality rating in a detailed quality check.
Parkers underwent the grading visit in October as part of the application process to join the Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA), which represents licensed taxis and operators of chauffeur-driven vehicles and minicabs that take pre-bookings.
The company has now been awarded a five star rating after scoring 86 per cent in a comprehensive inspection that examined drivers and vehicles, journey records, administrative processes and premises and overall image of the business.
In their report, inspectors described Parkers as “above average” with “a large corporate clientele that they have built up over the years with a great deal of hard work”.
The report highlighted Parker’s “high quality control levels” and added that the introduction of a free Wi-Fi for clients in many cars had taken what was already “a fine ground transportation service to the next level.”
Operations manager Philip Baptista said: “We are delighted to have achieved this five star rating, which gives independent confirmation of the way we build excellence into all aspects of our business. We have always believed we were a five star business and now it’s official!”
