Two quintessentially British events are on the horizon, with thousands set to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Henley Regatta.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place between the 13th and 16th July 2023 and celebrates its 30th year. The festival is a celebration of motorsports, featuring modern and historic motor racing vehicles.
During the course of the festival, visitors will get to witness many events and attractions, including the hill climb; a racetrack that climbs 92.7 metres with an average gradient of 4.9 per cent, and the Forest Rally Stage, a full circuit for rally cars to compete in.
The Henley Regatta is a distinctly more serene event. It replaces the roar and thunder of motor engines with the calming sounds of oars carving their way through the waters of the Thames.
The Regatta is a rowing event held annually in the town of Henley-on-Thames. This year it will run from Tuesday 27 June to Sunday 2 July. Races are head-to-head knockout competitions, with the most prestigious event being the Grand Challenge Cup.
With both events expected to attract thousands of visitors, we recommend planning ahead if you are attending.
